Year 3 have been learning about Ancient Egypt and are fascinated with all of the information about it's Geography and History. They have made their own "parchment" to write a diary entry on. Looked at how the pyramids were constructed and thought about all of the difficulties the Egyptians would have faced to build such magnificent tombs. The children have especially enjoyed looking at hieroglyphics and made their own cartouche. The next subject will be mumification which they are excited to learn about too.
