On Wednesday we had some special visitors to our morning assembly. They had come to present a very important award to one of our Year 2 pupils.
Members of the local Police Force and Ambulance Service joined us along with proud parents and grandparents to hear how Stanley had saved the life of a family member by calling 999 in an emergency situation.
He was awarded two Bravery Certificates and the whole school were reminded the importance of staying calm and remembering what to do in an emergency and also the fantastic work which is done by our emergency services. Congratulations Stanley and his Family.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
