At Stoke Prior First School, we work really hard to understand what our parents think about the school as it helps to focus the school's drive for continuous improvement.
We use a range of methods to gather information such as a yearly whole school parental survey, focused parental surveys, parental workshops, informal one to one discussions with parents, staff and pupil voice. This information is analysed and then used to help formulate priorities for the school.
The Governors of the school have full access to the surveys and this helps the school to move forward. If possible, year on year or national comparisons are made in order to demonstrate the impact of changes.
Where data is available, responses from parents in our school has been compared to responses from parents in all schools using Ofsted's Parent View survey.
Below are the the results of the 2022 & 2021 surveys. They highlight the key findings along with some possible areas for potential development.
Once again we had a very good response and a very positive outcome to the annual survey. Please take a moment to read the results.
Parental comments from the 2022 survey
We absolutely love Stoke Prior First School. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who make it such an inspiring, safe and fun place to learn.
In comparison to other schools in the area I believe SPFS offers an excellent curriculum and great selection of after school clubs.
All of the teachers are lovely, very approachable, professional and caring of the children.
A very nurturing school that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
The Teachers in all years are amazing.
I would like to say how supportive all the teachers have been with my daughter. Any time I have raised concerns about anxiety signs my daughter has shown, they have gone above what I would expect and have shown nothing but support for her well-being.
The new Phonics scheme in Reception seems to be definitely developing my child’s reading and writing, she has made great progress.
The teachers are fantastic and genuinely care about the students. The additional events offered are amazing, so well organised, well done PTA.
