Every February, we join schools across the UK in celebrating Safer Internet Day. Safer Internet Day is a global campaign across 170 countries to promote the safe and responsible use of technology, which calls on everyone to join together in helping to create a better internet.

Using the internet safely and positively is a key message that we promote at Stoke Prior First School, and celebrating Safer Internet Day gives us the opportunity for us to re-emphasise the key safety messages we deliver throughout the year.

All week, pupils participate in assemblies, class discussions and activities all centred around internet safety. You will find more information in the newsletter during that week, and in our latest news section.

Mrs David has set up a work station for all the children, related to this weeks Safer Internet Topic, " Want to talk about it?". Children can choose a situation from the box then they can write on the back what they would say in order to make the situation better and how they would feel better about the problem. These answers will be discussed as a whole group activity back in the classroom.
